18-24 inches of fresh powder in the Treeline / Alpine the last couple days.

Please ride with care, as the February weak layer is still prone to trigger.

Last weekends loss was a horrible reminder of the power of mother nature and how relentless she can be.

Our deepest heart filled condolences going to Jays Family and Friends.

Ride Safe to Ride another Day, Rest in Peace Jay.

We are planning our first trip to Blue River sledding April 4 & 5. We have one newbie with us so we are thinking we will ride Foam & Ground Hog (East or West?). All of these areas use the same staging area, correct? How far is the trail up to the riding areas from the staging area? Do you think we will be unloading at the staging area on these dates, or will we be driving up the trail a bit? Is the snowpack depth average this year?

Thanks for any info!

Great snow condition all weekend, with a pile of fresh.
Trail are holding together well.

BRPPS would like to thank all those that have supported our organization through out the year, It has and continues to be a great riding year.
Here is a little update from us.
As of April 8,2014 the snow bridge will be removed from the Foam creek riding area, so all trail passes will be by donation only. However Salmon is being groomed today so Groundhog and Salmon will still be open to ride with the purchase of a $20 trail pass.
Please remember that all passes must be paid to ride these areas.

11of us rode Salmon and Groundhog from April 3-6. 2days in each . The snow was great for all days. Met other riders that were there for 3 days as well before we arrived. First time in this area and was very impressed..... Though I wonder why the trail had not been groomed for a week ...!!!! Don't mind paying the fees to ride the trail , but drove over 9 hrs , one way, to ride these areas, and rode a very rough trail for all 4 days . Very disappointing !!!

Fresh snow still falling in the alpine, Trails are in great condition with snow too the parking lots. Groomers are still running weekly or every 100 riders per area.

Finn Creek snow bridge to Foam was removed April 8, 2014 (Use Caution) - accepting donations.

Salmon / Groundhog, last groomed April 8, 2014 - Trial Passes Required.

BRPP is planning to groom till Easter weekend, weather/snow permitting.

How are the hills looking like for the Easter Weekend? Parking lots are good? What areas do you think would be the best to ride for the weekend for one last ride in Blue??

As of today parking lots are good. Dry, easy for trailer. Very minimal rocks to ride on sled until trial. Can't ask for much better for spring.
