Just a heads up to everyone , parked up at blueberry road and rode into the holy grail on saturday , got back to the truck to find my window smashed out , looks like it took a couple hits to break it because the little whoever missed the window first swing and just hit the door , looks like about 2000.00 damage to the truck , stole my wallet left under the seat , no money in the wallet just a couple credit cards which have not been used , mine was one of 12 trucks in lot but only one hit , some effort needs to be put in and catch these chicken shat little fackers

I DO AGREE something should be done . Maybe towns should keep some one on patrol ,was in Sicamous at Owls head and some one was in the parking lot all day keeping an eye on every thing.

I strongly agree, some money from the groomers should be applied to sercurity patrol. If our trucks keep getting broke into then we as sledders might not show up to ride. I'm thinking of putting in some sort of tracking system in my rig and possible a video camera with a feed.

It may have been one of the members of the PG "Crew". They pay crack heads $1000 of crack to bring a sled back to the chop shop.

Good chance it was a local , nothing was gone through , knew exactly where to look , someone just looking for some quick cash , never got any so beware next weekend

sorry to here about your run in with these little f**ckers.
had a truck broke into a couple years ago in the same area,
stole wallet (hidden) , in 6 hours had charged up about 3k
heading south, good thing for insurance.

i have now had the guys at work rig up a surveilence camera
in a very unexpecting place:d, always park truck so it can
watch over things:nono:, just haven't been at the right place
yet , but i will some day. can't wait either , as i won't be
calling the authorities , just a few dozen good friends and
away we go. a few pics passed around someone will know
them.
i caught a guy looking threw trucks on one trip up this year ,
was at renshaw staging area , 2 guys came down early?
loaded up and proceeded to open tailgates on 4 trucks
and check the doors on 2 trailers. didn't find anything
they wanted i guess and left? a couple friends asked them
later at the pub in valemount about there actions , they
checkout of hotel (same one we were at) that night and
never seen again. :p these guys were like 40ish aswell ,
kids would be real proud *ssh*les.

Hope someone can find out who the culprit is. Myself and some friends are looking at a trip next weekend somewhere. Certainly don't want break in issues though.

This is the attitude the whole town needs and can't let up on , the culprit does not realize what it means to the village , needs to be educated on this and can come in many different ways , depends how education is recieved tells on how much education is needed

ps ; always willing to educate

I wonder if people actually think of the consequences of vigilanty justice, when ever something like this happens everybody's on board with taking the the culprits into the woods and dealing with it themselves, but unfortuantely these damn lowlifes have the same rights as everyone else. If you dealt with it yourself then you'd be the one in jail on charges and you're lifes ruined then. Dont get me wrong, if I could invoke self justification then I would of a long time ago, it's the fear of prison and our absoulte joke of a justice system that keeps me at bay. I do feel for you man, you work hard to buy nice stuff and all it takes is some scum to ch!t on your weekend

They maybe going after your identity. Make sure to keep an eye on you credit and stuff. Identity thief is great now and its easy to sell you info online. They won`t even use the cards, they just need the information.
