Blue River 2022 -2023

@firstdoo how was your Sunday?

Sunday was ok. Was finally getting my sled legs by the end of the day.

Snow was skinny in the back bowls of Redsands and it was tough to play in the trees. Found dirt once on a good stuck.

Decided to head out at a decent time for the drive home and the Turbo Shredder decided to take one last climb. Hit a rock on the way up (that we both missed a few times) and broke the spindle off at the lower ball joint, broke the steering arm, and twisted the upper a-arm. Took about 2 1/2 hours to limp it back to the truck. Still an ok day though.

Rode Paradise Friday and broke trail to the T below Holy Grail Saturday... need snow bad.... no complaints, turbo smiles all day lol... super sore, even today...

Whew thst would have been a workout with the low snow! ..... can you do Horseshoe next! Lol

haha Friday we rode to the bottom of horseshoe and looked at the willows, they were so thick at the road we just jumped a few road deactivations and turned around at the river... that bridge would sure be handy....

on another note I did see a marked heli ski landing spot in Paradise that I didn't know was there. could be interesting if they were coming down and you were going up....

Has anyone been into salmon yet? Sorry been out of the loop this year so far with the terrible conditions but really getting the itch. Going to Vale/Blue on the 18th unless it doesnt snow then heading to Revy

we had a chopper hover over us 5 years ago while on that trail was being a jerk took off and landed to refuel just up the trail guess they don't like sledders

Haha where all the good stories are told and the next days riding plans are made! I don’t think I’ve seen a year this bad yet, hopefully it starts dumping soon, thanks for the update man
