Belt wear 2010 XP

Please advise possible cause of this. Belt cogs are glazed on outer edge of belt towards outside , only torn in this small area.

Mine is doing that as well, no where near to that degree (800mi on the belt). Guess I should check my mounts as well.

I agree with maxwell. Check your clutch alignment and I think you will find your problem.

ya it could also be just the alignment itself. although a small misalignment usually wont do that much damage. but at the same time the rear motor mount are slotted for adjustment so even if the bolt is loose it will alow the motor to twist significantly.

Thanks for comments. Clutches are off for cleaning and inspection. I will check mounts, and alignment after reinstalling. Crank run out was .003".
