Belt getting wet on Can-Am Renegade

Ya i had the same problem. Did u change ur belt lately? When i changed it the problem came around after and i took it to my dealer and told him what was going on and he did somthing to it and now i have no problems. Ask for Larry at Wetaskwin Motorsports the guy always come through for me.

The inner beld cover warps and the water leaks in where the shafts go into the belt housing. Seens this lots. Happened to my 06 can-am as well.

The 08's should have the updated inner belt cover....shouldn't be warped. The stock intake for the CVT is in the left front fender and is prone to sucking water if you enter the water fast....full splash into the fenders. Now if you are entering slow, but riding water that is over 24 inches deep, chances are good its coming in the rear CVT outlet....it's not very high. Snorkles are the best bet.
