Has anyone ever changed the gears in a diamond lite drive? If so is it a easy out and in change? other than droppingthe gear oil and removing the cover?

Easy just look at the m series section and its pretty well the same as any other diamond drive. All you will be changing is the input gear and the output gear. You could even put it on its side if you want to keep the oil in. But I would change it out and run it for a weekend and change the oil again when you get back home so it will get all the wear metals out from the new gears establishing their wear patterns.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like each gear slides out and the new one slides in. Def change the oil out way cheaper then repairing a failure.. I imagine the bearings have to be swapped over to the new gears?
