Ball Joint separator

Just redid the front wheel bearings in a buddies 06 honda. Bought a ball joint separator from princess Auto for 45 bucks and does it ever work slick. Sure beat the hell out of the old pickle fork. Best part is you dont have to destroy the boot! Had the front end apart and back together in about 2 hours with nothing broken.:d

Ive used that tool many times and its great. Just take the time to lube the boot so it doesn't rip.

good to know ...would it work on a 96 dodge 3/4..

Did as the manual suggested except that I left the nut on a little bit so as to not mush the threads on the ball joint (found that out on the first one) lubing the forks and the groove on the arm makes all the difference.
