they h1 is around 2000$ and I've never seen one
in a store. But looks like one hell of a radio.
never heard of it till yesterday though
Yeah the H1 looks impressive. There is a H2 as well.
The ones I had seen were the X series. You can pick up those on eBay for a few hundred bucks and available on Amazon as well. I have no idea on the ability to activate them if they are not current.
Worth some investigating.

Their GPS far exceeds anything we have ...just by reading about it. Not sure why anyone would want our sensitive phones that break easily and batteries that will not last all day. By the time you added up the cost of phones from this country 700 bucks and a gps 600 bucks and a uhf vhf radio, these phones are a steal of a deal. And who wants to pack all that crap you have it all in one unit. And I will say it one more time, my 89 dollar acer phone with 26 dollar memory maps on it makes a standard gps look stupid. So if you get one of these phones download mm app and learn how to download an enclosed area and you have something any aviation pilot could only dream of 5 years back.
It looks like the result of an iPhone spending the night with a Boefeng. This radio is bad ass! I want one.

Yes by'eyeah I think you are on to something. Do you know if it is
possible to use google earth, when you are out of cell service?
thanks!
Yes.. I use google earth out of cell service, I have been using it for 2 years now on my Samsung tablet, first I used google off line maps but it is not so clear. As I have mentioned earlier google earth is a bit glitchy and does not give precise gps position all the time. Memory Maps is exact and you also can have 3d maps just like google earth.
