Anyone know the torque on the nut for the rear axle on a 2018 outlander XMR

Do you know if the rear bearings can be done with out press

if the bearings are in the hub you will need to press them in and out and the nut should be nothing less than 80 ft lbs

You can pound them in and out with a hammer and punch. Put the new bearings in the freezer and warm the hub when installing them. That way they will drop in.

Torque the nut to proper spec or it will not last. Also grease new bearing they come with basically nothing for grease.

My Rzr I just did. Took 7 pumps of grease per wheel. Nut is 180 Ft lbs

I bought a greaser thats fits the can am bearings and built a hand held press to carry in the trailer
