Hi Folks,

John Kelly from the Avalanche Centre here. Avalanche Awareness Days is our annual event to increase awareness of the importance of avalanche safety, and it is happening in about 50 locations around BC and Alberta this year. In particular we would like to invite you to come out to the movie night in Fernie where the CAC is holding our national profile event this year. Please see our poster for details, but basically the event will have movies, beer, snacks and prizes and will take place at:

• Best Western Fernie Mountain Lodge
• 1622 7th Ave.
• Friday January 8, 7pm

Come and meet the CAC folks and grab a beer with us.
