I don't drive a diesel and hate the diesel guys that want to gas you out when your window is down. I have done some propane boosted diesels with no exhaust smoke and tons of power and better fuel economy. I don't understand why people don't do more propane boosts on your diesels. No smoke and more power better fuel economy........just my 2 cents worth. Take a look on you tube and see.......To much exhaust smoke is not cool

I own a 05 diesel, it's never been chipped and it never will be as long as I own it. I really don't see the point, but I'm not going to condone the ones that do chipped them.

im glad im getting less and less smoke tune calls i think the big problem is these kids go on you tube and watch a highly modded drag or sled pull truck roll some coal and instantly think god they make huge power and lots of smoke i need smoke for power in my 99 cummins. slowly but surely we are informing people about clean high hp tunes.
had a dude toyin' with me the other day up the west hill out of PR, so I stood on it with the ol' 8.1 and that dodge cummins left me in a cloud of dust with zero smoke....I know a stock one won't do that lol

A guy would be surprised how much power can be made clean, its all in the tuning, of course it takes a lot more knowledge and time to make a clean tune, which is why we see so much smoke from some trucks.

us dealership owners are supposed to tell you keep the emmissions on the truck they work awesome there amazing! but in all honesty they suck and dont last! you just cant get the mileage or life out of these trucks like we used to get. im glad im getting less and less smoke tune calls i think the big problem is these kids go on you tube and watch a highly modded drag or sled pull truck roll some coal and instantly think god they make huge power and lots of smoke i need smoke for power in my 99 cummins. slowly but surely we are informing people about clean high hp tunes. These emmissions are a joke the soot traps in a heavy piece of precious metal and then uses more diesel to heat it up and burn it off so you dont see it but lets also make the mileage worse and cut the engine life in half so we have to produce more vehicles and burn more fuel that sounds good to the enviroment to me haha. Our emmissions warranty claims are insane for how many failures come back from them.

I get pretty damn decent miledge out of my 13 CTD, cant speak for longevity though.

You can still do all the emissions delete and tuner without blowing smoke. It's the guys that turn it up to douche mode on the tuner. I agree that the DPF and DEF is a ****ty system but delete it properly and keep the tuner on stock. These diesels now have more power and torque then ever

Was crossing the street on the way to the Stampede on Saturday near Cowboys Casino and some douche nugget tried to roll coal all over the pedestrians with his gayer than aids 6L. Guess he wanted to show us how big his dick was, too bad he failed.
