Just wanted to advertise the date earlier this year

We had 200 riders for our 1st rally and appreciate the support.

Some of the trail has changed along with the prizes, but we are keeping a Quad for 1st place.

Helmets are mandatory this year

I think it's just north of Vilna and Spedden off highway 28? Past Garner Lake.

Its about 1.5 hours from Cold Lake. Heading towards edmonton on highway 28
Half hour from St.Paul

From Speeden it's is north East 19km

from Vilna it is south east 23 km

From Edmonton it is about 220 km north east

from bonnyville 90 km north west

Yea, last year was a great time?

What changes have been made to the trail, Carl?

Can we avoid the lake of grass and the impossible hole right before it?

Either way, I hope to be there!

Lake of grass? The beaver runs? How far into the trail I need a visual..My husband and I do the trail...

The trail is a little different, meaning the beginning of the trail is a different route and longer
There will be some of the same trail though towards the middle of the run.

And it's Jackie lol!


We've also added a free halfway lunch.

As I remember it, last year, the mid point was right around where the trail went back to the highway (the big corner on the hill). Just after that, there was a long straight skeg/mud section, and then a little after that, there was a spot that everyone that I saw had to winch across (beaver run?). Following that, there was just a large lake full of grass

I don't mind a challenge, but that one section was just a big bottleneck as everyone winched, one person at a time, out of the water. The "lake of grass" wasn't a big deal, just required some good pulling grass out of the axles time.

that will still be on the trail, the highway big turn

every water hole had a way around it as did this one..

Most definitely the rally is still a GO!!

from highway 28 going north towards Spedden and Vilna.

we are in between these 2 hamlets. There is a sign on the highway that says Goodfish Lake. As Soon as you get to the reserve there will be signs to the staging area. It's about 16 km off the highway.

Bigstick do you know where these hamlets are?
