When I started on the rigs I was getting $9.60/hr and when I switch jobs I think it was around $13.00/hr. But the $100 a day living allowance was killer, I lived off of it and Drank off my wadge. Good old Arrowhead C11

When I was a leasehand in 1977 I was making $5.80/hour. Later, as a floorman I was making $6.25/hour. In 1979 as a driller, I was making $12.70/hour.
