Curious if anyone's building a new Viper? Alot of us riding some old iron still. I know mines 5+ yrs. The past week I've been looking at the Viper and it looks like a pretty sweet base to a custom sled. I think it would make an incredible turn key turbo sled. The Nytro is a bulletproof engine, glad to see they stepped up and stuffed in a new chassis. The new Cat/Viper chassis looks like it might be a bit less work to build too. From what I've seen, all a guy needs along with the track and skid is a tail section. No steering relocates, cooler delete for 3", tunnel replacement, relocated a-arms, custom fuel tank, custom header, etc. I see they have a factory intake air temperature gauge/sensor. That's awesome, they definately built these sleds knowing the customers will be turboing. Will be nice to see how well your intercooler is performing.. The Boost-It kit will be awesome and I'm sure as usual MCX will have a great product. These sleds will be a rocket running similar set-ups to the Nytro. All a guy needs is a shim(or low boost, stock compression), turbo kit, and a good simple, hassle free fuel controller. A shiny new sled is appealing..anyone building one? This is what I'd be throwing into one, this set up would be a great turn key riding sled for me. It's all about reliability and simplicity for me now. What else do these things need?

2014 Viper ($???)
Boost-It water/air turbo Kit ($5995.00)
Stainless head shimRacers Edge Skid ($4500.00)
Camo Extreme 174x3" ($1300.00)
Drivers (not sure if needed?)
CR Racing tail section (+/- $500?)

I'll be riding my custom built Nytro for this up coming season, though being a 2010 it cannot be considered old iron considering its a custom mod with the newest innovations. Not your typical cookie cutter seen out there. But will keep an eye on the new Viper as my possible next victim as a custom build, it seems to have great potential for a great build.
I am looking at a couple of new model's for my next build, it will be an interesting up coming season's...choices choices.
