anyone been in ministik yet

Just wondering what the snow is like in ministik. Is there good cover or is there alot of hidden obsticles?

We were out last week. The trails were good, some guys were on the ice, a bit early I think, but I'm not am expert. Going out again today. They say the ice is 8-10" so it should be good. There was a post from Ministik man earlier that had alot of good info about the area. Highly recommend reading it.

Na, no snow in Ministik

Actually its good. There is signs of water on the ice. I've crossed it a few times , appeared to be good. Posted a video of some of Ministik in the Tri-Country page, under Alberta Clubs. On S&M. Shows some of the ice conditions. If ya want a grand tour of the area PM me, I'm more then happy to get people good and lost out there.

Thanks. I know the area fairly well. I live only 6 km east so i can get lost all by myself. Might just hop on the sled and go try it. Apreciate the info.
