Hello to all that can help..... There is no snow of value within a stones throw of Edmonton. I am introducing a friend to the world of sledding and before I bring her to the mountains there is much to do as far as understanding the sled and avy awareness. So, any suggestions on areas near or in the mountain area (coming from Edmonton) that would be good intro zones with trails and meadows with decent snow.... Cheers and thanks for any replies that may come..TB

Try Revelstoke, it always has good snow and well groomed trails
