98 670x hard to start help!

If you think it's tough to start now, wait until you tip it over for a few minutes....50 pulls....

Ok I have experienced the joy of trying to start the summit 670 after its been on its side for a few minutes. felt more like 500 pulls. Not much fun lol do you have any pics of where you relocated the fuel shut off?

on my sled the guy had located to the top of the footrest on the right side of the sled. easy to get at when layin on its side as long as it is right side up. Seemed to be a good spot high enough to not be in your way and easy to reach without having to open hood.

Right side, close to primer or in that area.

I had the same proplem on my 500,the primer was leakin threw and constantly fillin my engine,its funny cause everyone on here say 3 pumps and 3 pulls,Ive had that machine since brand new and its always been 8 pumps and 1 pull(the odd time 2),but when you roll it its a #itch,I get a buddy to hold it to the bars while I pull my #ss off.
