800r needle position?

Hi guys I have an 08 800r ptek that somebody put 800ho adjustable needles in . I ride around 2000 feet elevation and was wondering if anyone else had a similar setup and what position they had their clip in on the needles?

My 2007 800R had updted needles fom brp which are adjustable. Are you sure yours are HO not R? you can check by the number on the needle. i run mine in the middle. it's a little rich/safe bt still responsive.

My '08 had adjustable needles also. I had it on middle position with .030 shim if I remember right. On an 860 it was right on the edge of lean according to my egt gauge
