77 Polaris 340 Colt SS ski adjustment

Does anyone know how to adjust the skis on a 77 Polaris 340 colt SS?

the spindles that are on the skis have a spline loosen the bolt that is on the tie rod end slide it down and turn one spine at a time till you are straight do both sides so it turns the same left and right

I see that there is a bad design with the steering.
The adjusting ends are under the motor at the base of the steering arm instead of at the ski end which makes it almost impossible to adjust without removing the motor.
I think they can be turned around so the adjustment ends are at the ski ends.
