Are the old Vipers good trail sleds?

Thinking about a 144 or 141 x 2 for a trail sled for me. The snow bike is awesome but doesn't really shine on glazed up trails.

I know nothing about them other than I love the way they look and sound.

Not many had reverse or ES. How hard is that to get and install after the fact?

Thanks.

How is it on the trails? How about when the trails end up getting a little whooped out?

Friend of mine used to have one. It was very nice on a rough trail.......well, compared to my M7 mechanical bull ride anyway. They sound really nice too.

i have a 1999 yamaha mountain max big bore mod with a poo rear skid. I have heard that the vipers are good and that on rought trail they are pretty good. It is good that you are going with a 144 / 141 as the longer track will soak up and brifge the bumps nice. the sleds are very reliable and last.
