7 tooth drivers

Anyone experience track failure that was caused by heat from running smaller diameter drivers?

I haven't heard of any. A 7 tooth 3 pitch is slightly larger than a 8 tooth 2.52 and there are a ton of those running around.

yep - what he said^^^^ if this is related to the BS from Camoplast about the 3" tracks failing because guys are running 7T 3.0 pitch drivers its BS, the 8T 2.52 is the same OD as the 7T 3.0 pitch, no 2.52 tracks failing due to heat

If anyone else goin this route Avid now lists a 7 tooth 3 pitch driver for M sleds (near bottom of page, not with the rest of the 7 toothers).

I also have a set of brand new (still in box) 8 tooth extros 3.0 pitch for sale
