Got a 04 500 I want to put 26x10-12 Mud Lite XL tires on the front of using the stock rims. Machine came with 25X8-12. There is some question if 1" spacers will be enough. I can go with 1 1/2" to be safe but am I going to affect the steering or something else doing this? Anyone got experience with going to this tire size?

an 04 500 HO what? Polaris? If so dont bother with the spacers, just flip the tie rod end over to the bottom from the top. Done it many times, never had a problem.

ya you will need a 1" wheel spacer. With wheel spacers you will widen the stance of the bike which will make it steer harder.
