I'm going to have to steal that one.

Joss is pretty sketchy to get in to after the amateur hour up there today.
Not sure what the rules are, but trucks and trailers were parked up the side of the road for about a kilometer making it pretty much impassable for a log truck. Seems like it's asking for trouble.
These are both examples of what I was getting at back in the derailed muskoka thread.

Not very many sleds in Mcrae today.
The area was "reloaded" in as much as old tracks were covered. There was 4" of fresh. We only tracked up the 'front half'.

Weather was terrific Friday and Saturday! Snow was pretty good too, just low overall, some of the chutes where pretty tight, some rocks and trees showing in them that I've never seen in March.

Fair to say spring conditions are upon us? I've never rode in April, but I'm seeing and feeling snow that is "touched" by the sun and high temps.

Yes, its those dont leave the lot till 10 or 11 as the snow is rock hard till the sun warms and softens it up.

Rode Frisby / Boulder over the weekend. Both trails holding up respectively. We stayed at the Glacier House cabins ( Really convenient and good experience! ) and used access to Boulder from Frisby. Getting thin in spots.

Frisby on Friday was lean in alot of areas and had to look for decent snow.

Boulder was really good with new snow overnight on Friday and Saturday night.

Really good snow to be found on Saturday / Sunday on Boulder!

Could have used a extra day or 2 to hang out and ride!

Was surprised how quiet it was out there this past weekend.

Sounds like grooming will be done in the area within the next couple weeks.

We left on Monday, but unloading was at the 2nd lot up from the ticket booth for Boulder and unloading right at the ticket booth at Frisby.

Parking lots are muddy, but to be expected now.
