I am having issues getting my sled to rev out to where it should be 8000-8100~.
I currently have 68 weights and a 85-255 drive spring. I am riding in the Fernie area which is around 1800m or 6000'. As per the recommended altitude calibration from cat it states that for 3-6000' I should have 70 weights, 85-235 drive and a 155/240 driven spring. I have not taken the helix apart to see what my driven spring is yet..
I purchased the sled used from Saskatchewan this year and the owner claimed he never had it in the mountains and that the dealership had it set up as stock.
The sled has 1000km. I was able to get around 7950 RPM when I tested the sled out at our cabin which is around 810m or 2650'.
Is anyone able to offer some advice on what might be wrong? The dealerships have really not been helpful and have said some conflicting things.
Thank-you!
