I know or have heard of many owner having this issue in low snow conditions and I've heard everything from adding second scratchers to adding idler wheels. I'm sure by now someone has figured out a for sure fix and I'd like to have it before this season starts did 3 sets last year and don't plan on doing that again lol

I just run one set to keep the weight down a lil.

If you run only one set, just make sure you run them at the furthest forward postion

I put idlers on the front when I bought it but we all know last year was a special case of no snow lol I'm gonna try ski scratchers I think seems like best solution so far. Maybe put on a set of ice storms and remove those useless stock ones

Do they make those for the 173" t3? Don't think so, at least I couldn't find any last year. Still on original sliders at 500kms :)

I have them on my 174 ice age rails .
Haven't changed them in 5 years but run scratchers as well in low snow conditions when needed.
No wheels.

We sell tons of hyper fax and have been for years. Like said these last a long time even with a 3" you'll get a few thousand Km's out of them easy with just a set of scratchers, there's no need for extra wheels. We have stock for Doo Poo and cat call 17804749400

Only problem I have with Hyperfax is; they are 200+ $ sliders and if you ride a bunch of gravel you'll still wreck them.

I like riding pow.... But rode a lot of gravel last year to get to it,,, burnt through 2 pairs of skies...lol

And If there is snow, stock 30$ sliders are fine IMO

Haha,, I know gravel isnt great for a sled,, but had to ride the chit though.

And if you may find yourself doing that kind of thing(like me) 250$ sliders might not be the best option for you.
