why is everyone scared of the 163? i havent talked to one guy that regretted going to 163 EVER.........

Not scared of it, had one before. I just like the 154 better.

I was being sarcastic. 163 is the way to go. I dont miss being stuck and i enjoy riding more.

If they offered it I would snowcheck 2 of them one for me one for the wife. I like jumping to much and can't afford 2 sleds so I prefer a 154.

Don't really know what the big hype is, seems like i go everywhere the 163's go. That being said, the sleds are so nimble these days, my next sled will probably be a 163.

I also switched from a dragon 155 700 to a pro 163 800 so that it self was a huge change as well. Go 163, everyone in our group has or is, 160 lbs to mid 200s its not life changing but it makes a bit of difference.

I was thinking the new 154" free ride with a 3" and narrowing kit would be ideal! But in all honesty jumping from a 154" and a 163" there is absolutely no difference in weight or do i notice the extra length! TO me the only difference is whats on paper.

I dunno.

I myself would rather have my 163 x 2.5 than a 154 x 3 with a grossly dropped skid and bad attack angle. I think doo really should have deepened the tunnel and kicked it up a tad to make up for the drop in skid. They have the room with no float bowls now..NO?

Jumping aside, although lots of guys do drops with 163's, if you can justify riding a 154 and you don't just ride subpar snow, ditchbang and 90% of your riding is done in Saskatchewan, why not just get a 163.

Stand on a new 163 sled, XM, whatever, make all the brap noises you want, then go ride it. Ride it whever you normally ride. Other than the sled having improved floatation, climbing flatter and keeping better ground speed in deep snow, would you know the over all length is barely 4" different. Most guys won't.

I would love one! been riding 163 for 9 years now on a 154 and love it will never go back to a 163 again. Give me a factory 154x3 xm and i'll scrap my 860 rmk in a second

came from a 146" xp to a 163" xm and I find the 163 to be a lot easier to ride and maneuver. I do find that im way lazier on my 163 and don't have to take everything with huge momentum. I do get stuck about the same though because that's what I ride for is pushing the sled to its limits.

Im super happy with my 163 but would like to ride a 154" xm to see the difference.

Less track means that there is more challenging terrain for a guy to play on. My old play areas I used to love with my 146 now are pretty simple and I hate that.
