Couple questions , just bought the sled and not really that happy with it but I think it's in the set up. First thing I'm disappointed in is the get up and go. My 09 M8 163 with a can wipes the snow with it. Figured the rmk would walk all over it but it not even close at top end speed.
What can I do to get more out of it. It's stock.
Second is handling , should I disconnect the sway bar. Seems super hard to side hill and has ****ty turning.

Sounds like you are trying to justify the superiority of the cat, or you haven't given the pro a chance?

are you comparing top end speed or Mountain performance?

The pro, is very nimble stock, shouldn't be too difficult to flip and dip up on edge, maybe give it another ride?.

Are you out of break in yet or where are you at? I am not brand prone but I have a 15 pro 163. Stock hp on the pro is less and anyone that wants to argue it is in denial. But in saying that, the cat isn't even close in handling. I would give it some more time. Like I said. I love snowmobiling in general and don't want to argue about brand's. Merry Christmas.

Cheers

BTW this is the Axys section.

I think everyone will tell you that the Pros have less HP than the Cat 800.

I'm thinking the suspension needs a ton of adjustment for my weight. Also pretty your right about the HP. I'm pretty disappointed how badly the cat spanked the RMK.
The RMK is twice the ride and ten times more comfortable . I'm gonna pull the sway bar and start playing with adjustments on rear suspension.
