2014 summit snowmoboarding... Better rear shocks needed?

Shocks should be ok. I would think if your going to be doubling you might want a heavier set of springs.

Just buy the HD rear torsion springs. The part #'s are 503191289 for the left and 503191287 for the right.

I had heavy springs on my 09 but didn't bother on my 12 or 13.

I weigh 290lbs and some of the other guys tandem ing are over 200.

Thanks guys!.... I'm not fat but I'm big and I snowboard. 220 lbs plus 15 or so pounds of beer. Oh and gear..
Most guys jumping on would be 200-220lbs. So that's lotsa a meat. And BEER!!
So springs eh, ok. I'll ride for a little bit then make the move, thanks again.

Running board braces are a good idea, after a while your running boards end up looking rockered like pow skis when you do laps with large guys

I hear that! My nytro boards looks like some lib tec banana thing.
The new xm boards seem very strong. But then again the nytro is a tank.
