On the trails I believe a can is safer. You can hear the guy coming or braaap the throttle and the guy ahead can hear you. As well as weight savings!

Yep my suitcase was 18.4lbs and can was 4.1 so saved 14.3lns on my sled.............

We actually used the sound of a piped sled to find out way out after spending the night. Best sound a person could hear when your lost in the mtns.
