I still say it could achieve or get close to 30mpg. I mean my 07.5 chev with a 6.0l and 4.10 gears averages 18-20mpg at 120. And. That's with the 4spd. So 3.73/3.55 gear, 6spd, and direct injection... Shouldn't be a issue. Don't think there would be much more for emission crap as the design is already superior to mine.

Yup , 99 3/4T 6.0L 4 speed 3.73 reg cab 2wd, driving highway empty (city sucked down the gas, haha) averaged 20mpg hand calculated. Even towing/hauling on the highway it wasn't sooo bad on gas, around 16mpg!

I wish mine would get mileage like thatalthough it is a heavier truck than yours. 2000 3/4T 6.0 4sp with the 4.10's ext. cab 4x4. Best I have ever seen is 14mpg. I average around 12 whether I am empty or loaded

16hrs? what planet are you from? 8 at best, and yea, most are like this now.

16 hours about right for the first one if you don't have a manual,i got it down to 8 hours when i had to put the third one in after 5 months.Engineers that design this stuff should be gut shot for there bright ideas!
