2014 Assault 144" Hybrid running boards

Looking to buy a new 2014 Assault with 144X2" track, but the running boards threw me for a loop when I realized that they are not the Snow Eliminators boards found on 155+ machines. A bit of a disappointment to be honest. I have had issues with my dragon and RMK's running boards building up now in the foot wells. Has anyone have some feedback about Assaults w/hybrid running boards and snow build up. Are there kits to put holes in foot wells or is there heated foot well?

Yup. B and m and skinz make tube type running boards. And wrp make the better board style insert.

Putting B&M boards on mine, bottom of the foot well is open. Way to much snow build up with stock boards.
