For front shocks what aftermarket choices are there and what are the best and ones to stay away from???

Shocks are one of those big personal preference things. Some people like Fox Floats, and others like Zbroz/etc. I personally like Zbroz as that's what I currently have on my ZX for fronts. That's probably the way I'll be going as well once the stock Doo HPG's let me down on my X.

Floats will lose you some wieght but Im not a big fan of them for handling. Ive heard nothing but good about the Raptor shocks. They are supposed to be unreal.
