Sled idles fine. I guess I need a power supply to check the tps. So I have to wait to borrow one from a friend.

The button should still work even with low compression. It might just shut off with low compression.

I have the service manual in a PDF format if you want it I can send it to you.

I'll need to text you the link to my drop box in order for you to get it.

Just to be clear....
When you push the button, there is no reaction and the sled continues to idle normally?

In this case, it's usually a throttle lever free play, or throttle safety switch problem, or the idle speed is too high.
It's possible a faulty TPS could cause this but I would expect you to have a TPS fault flashing at you if this were the case.

I have had TPS issues without any codes getting thrown. The safety pin in the throttle has caused people grief with these sleds as well.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember the spec was .030" freeplay on the lever.

TSS problems can usually be diagnosed by disconnecting it and see if the problem remains.

With the TSS hooked up it won't idle unless I hold the throttle enough to depress the TSS. If I let off the throttle the engine quits. Any idea what's wrong?

Problem solved. Everything was linked to my tps being out of adjustment. Set it back up to stock settings and sled works fine
