Hey fellas, Im in the market for a new sled. Just sold my 08 700 Switchback, done up and dialed in. Are the 2010 Assaults worth the risk, or should I look for a 2011 and up Assault? Thanks!

No risk just put a fix kit in any 800 and ride on.

Some guys say the 2010`s were better. Any truth to the power commander fixing all the issues? Or the 2010's still have weak pistons too? Thanks fellas!

I have a 2010 Dragon, with no issues. VR went on it early, but other than that.... I'm still happy with it.

What and where is a reputable place to have the fix kit done?(close to Edmonton). What is the total installed cost?

Send "Chrisco" a PM, he is in Stony Plain and I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out.

From what I understand the '10s are good anything before 2010 im not exactly sure how far it goes but the 07, 08, 09 only had one ring on the pistons, therefore a realiabilty issue lol, they started putting 2 rings back on in 2010, I ride a 2010 standard rmk 800 no issue until yesterday... and what is this fix it kit??
