2010 m8 cutting out

For some unknown reason my 2010 m8 seems to want to stall out as if it is starved for fuel or vapor locked occasionally...any ideas???

At idle.... 3000 rpm ,8100 rpm???

Usually right after I start it and get on the throttle. Sometimes it will stall out right away and other times when I am at a higher rpm 5-6k...weird

could be water in the gas? plugged baro tube? drain the fuel in the rail into a container and see if you can see any water droplets.
