Sled has 455 miles. Started with dimmed headlights and tach gauges going out then sled died when idling. Fired once backfired and will not start. Has 125 psi on each side. No spark.

Check grounding from the plate that everything sits on to the plate under it that mounts thru the chassis. I changed my voltage regulator and ran that ground wire from the post at the top on the outside of the plate to the post towards the center of the sled (maybe 5.5" long). Doing that seemed to make a world of a difference.

Buddy had 3 years of issues with his dragon, finally went out and bought a whole new wiring harness, swapped it out and the sled runs like a champ.

This is probably a rhetorical question, but had he changed the VR before he bought a whole new harness?

yep. he was at wits end. Pretty much bought every electrical part and started changing them out 1 at a time until the problem disappeared. talked to him today, still running awesome. This guy isn't a beginner, been building and fixing this chit all his life.
