I would be checking the PTO stub with a dial indicator before doing a top end, if the crank runout is excessive and the pistons are done it might be better to sell the sled as is rather than doing a top end and having a crank bearing fail and needing a crankcase and crankshaft. Or do the bottom end as well. If the Isoflex grease on the PTO seal has not been maintained and the mileage is high this Ptec might be candidate for selling and buy a 2013 or 2014 for a bit more than keeping the XP with its poor sidehilling, bad running boards, no T motion, no E-tec, etc.
