2007 M1000 front shock upper mount

Lock nut came off my M1000 today in Valemount. Shock went through belly pan and the mount bolt is bent. I got the bolt out but it was pressed in, can I put a regular bolt in for a day or will it break it or ruin the ?

A grade 8 bolt should get you through the day.

thanks for the reply, just after I posted I confirmed that Spin Drift in McBride had the parts so I made a quick trip and now the sled is fixed. Big thanks to Glenn at Spin Drift

Same thing happened to mine last year. Still have the grade 5 bolt in there that I "temporarily" fixed it with. Forgot all about it! You can use a heat gun to mold the plastic back in to shape and mostly close up the hole it made in the belly.
