2006 sportsman 90 won't start (help)

Anyone help me fix my kids atv....running when parked....thought it was battery so i bought a new one...
put it in and no nuetral lights or anything comes on when switch is turned on....as if no battery is in the thing.....

Does it turn over if you pull the front brake and push the start button. Give that a try.

Usually i have the front brake locked in place and usually when you turn the key on something lights up N or R light.......
