looking to c what helix i should have in it ....I bought it used from the east coast and has a 43 Degee helix , book says should be a 45 or 47 I am not sure exacctly what the diffrent angles would cause ? I am only getting 8000 rpm need at least 8400..

If you want to increase shift RPM with the secondary then you want a shallower angle like 39 not steeper like 45 or 47. Or go to a stiffer spring in the secondary.

Maybe the primary spring is sacked and should be replaced? They don't last forever. A fresh primary spring would bring the RPM's back up.
