2004 800R-Crankcase bearings

can you grease the crank bearings without splitting the cases. mine are dry as a bone.

I not a 100% sure but I think they run in the gas oil mixture. So that's why they are dry. I don't think it was until 2007 they started to grease the bearings, but I could be wrong.
