2003 800 carb cleaning advice

Just cleaning my carbs on my 2003 800 Vertical Escape and wondering what is the way to remove the jet under the pilot jet in the Mikunis? I believe that is the starter jet. Also apart from liberal use of carb cleaner over everthing is there any particular area to pay attention to......the sled runs better with choke on than off.
