sorry its a superchips 1850 its a handheld programmer its the old one before the flashpaq and the cortex came out. bought it 2 years ago it works good realy livens up the 7.3 i always ran the tow safe, it made the whole truck run smoother and really helped the 80 to 110 lag in the 7.3 and with intake and strait pipe i got 23mpg at 100

if i had one at my shop we sell them for our customers for around the 150 mark tops an older 7.3l one you should be able to get for that or less and new one costs 380 to 400 unless you want a fancier chip like a custom tuned dp tuner wich is hands down the best for the 7.3l i am a dealer for those ones

Swatter, I use a diablo programmer. Costs about $400. Works like you wouldn't believe. It has 4 modes, economy, tow, +80 hp and +100. When in economy you can get about 2 miles per gallon more. You don't lose hardly any mileage when in + 100 hp. I run mine in +100 hp all the time as it is nice to have the extra power (like this truck don't have enough with out it). If you want to tow put her in tow mode otherwise you might damage your engine. lots of low end grunt in tow mode just don't be racing with your trailer as will eat fuel like stock program. I also have an Airrad air filter in mine. That is all I have changed on my truck. My truck is a F350 crew cab extended frame dually with 7.3, 2001. Mileage is 18 without quads on deck, 16 if quads are on deck. About 12-13 if pulling my 10500 lbs trailer and have quads on deck(total gvwr onthis is 19600 lbs).
