Hi, I have an indy 500 that won't start easy at all. I blew the crank out of it 2 weeks ago along with both pistons being badly scuffed. I have since put a rebuilt crank in it, all new seals, 2 used pistons, pto 120 psi. mag 100psi. all new gasline, rebuilt fuel pump, new filter, cleaned carbs twice. It starts very hard starving for fuel it seems, once I get it running it will idle (2400rpm) and works good with a slight bog up to 5500 then comes out of it. Shut it off and it starts hard all over again 1 minute later. Could the diff. in compression do this?
