Hey guys So Im thinking of extending my 154 872 to a 163.. Im just wondering If Its worth it to go for the 3 inch or should a guy just stick with the 2.5. Its alot cheaper to go with the 2.5 since everyones takeing them off and putting on the 3 inch. also will it fit if i put 7 tooth drivers on? Or has anyone tried the 156 3inch. The only thing im worried about the 156 would be keeping my front end down since my sled already has a hard time doing that. Just wondering the best route
Thanks

Rode a 163 T3 for a week last month and it was great only issue was it tended to overheat on the icy trails, even with the scratchers down!

Other than that can't fault it!

Just make sure you are out with other three inch track guys or when you get stuck you will be all alone probably!

I was gonna post a helpful reply until I read this pissy comment. Gotta love when guys ask for feedback and then give a bitchy response to honest feedback.

sorry just noticed you location if you are a hard core mountain rider go for the 3 inch as stated research a good set of scratchers for cooling and be prepared to by high quality sliders as they do wear out quicker than a 2.5 inch track.

My advice keep it the way it is, order a new t3 and put the 872 in the new one. After experiencing a 872 that is properly clutched its a beast.

Yeah I love my 872 that's why I don't really wanna go thru the hustle on putting it on another sled. I figure it's easier to put a new track on then a bb on a new sled
