Only thing I've done to mine is head studs, and I did them myself. When it comes time to overhaul the 1100T (it will likely be awhile) - it will likely get pistons and rods, and maybe some minor head work, which I will again do myself. The guys doing drag racing are the ones doing cams, etc - but reliability is questionable.

Way past head studs.
Looking for info on rods and cylinder studs, and who did the work.
Can probably handle getting the motor out, but definitely not cracking it open!
Rumours of a 110 octane/30+lb flash would answer the why question.

Greg biffle builds up some wild z1 motors for the wildcat. New rear clip and all. Just seen it in atv magazine. Can go up to 400 hp tune stand alone fully controlled fuel with safety parameters to shutdown.

Saw a Wildcat build of his on EBay (Tennessee 131 on Crackbook). Bit more than I'm after or can afford.
