Just finished up on an 840 Swap... Got it all together and I have no Spark on either Plug..
I have done all the Diagnostic testing per the manual as far as Checking Voltages and Contunuity..The Ignition fuse (5a) is good.. I have 12v on Pin#2 (Middle pin0 on the ignition harness going to the coil from the Fuse box... I read an earlier post about the purple wire coming out of the fuse box on another users can am being brittle and basically broken... I havent pull the wiring to check for that, but if that was the case I dont think I would have 12v at the coil... I haven't checked resistance between the ECM and the Outer pins on the Coil Connector yet just because of the job of getting to the ecm.. Is there any other suggestions as to why I would have power at the Coil but still no spark?? Crank Position Sensor? Cam Position Sensor? Both of these were removed and reinstalled during the Top End Rebuild I just done.. Any help would be greatly appreaciated...
