09 dragon 800 hood melting?

picked up an 09 dragon 800, had SLP pipe, can and ypipe installed.

sled has 500 miles and i noticed that my hood has started to melt is some spots and the serperate parts of the hood have actually melted together.

anyone have any problems like this?

also when im headin up the trail to the alpine it sputters when you keep it at say half throttle.

anyone having these problems?

Proper hood/pipe clearance should be adjusted by the installer, every sled is different, and this is outlined in the slp directions. As for the bog, was the air intake kit installed w/the pipe? Try a set of ngk bpr9eix plugs, they seem to help, double check your fuel setting.

There has been an ECU reflash issued for the 800's. Talked to Cycle Works yesterday and they said to just bring it buy and they will take care of mine right away.

Check with your dealer. Should be the samething.

Its for the mid-range (6000-7000rpm) sputter that happens when it switches from 2 to 4 injectors I believe.
