the other day I went to ride around home with all the recent snow. I changed my clickers down to number 1 and filled it with fuel I use all the time. I unloaded it and let it warm up, all seemed normal. rode it for about 2 minutes and it started to not rev down. to the point where I was holding 6500 rpm not touching the throttle. I used the kill switch off/on to get back to my buddies shop n started troubleshooting. once It cooled down again and I fired it up, it idled normal. rode it a little and same thing. I am a bit lost as to where to start trying to look. throttle cables are free, choke is free. doesn't appear to be any air leaks. any help guys?

Open up Ur carb heaters , if it real cold , lots of fine snow dust. Keeps the carbs from freezing up.

Even if its like -5 I will run my heaters 1/2 open.

Red turn knob by clutch cover.

sent while I should be drinking twisted teas

Well i tried it yesterday after the weekend of + temperatures and everything appears to be working fine. Is it bad to keep those carb heaters open regularly?

I used to keep mine 1/2 way open if lots of snow or colder out.

Just not spring at all due to temps.
