Ok so I have a 2008 crossfire 800 standard model with 144 rail extensions. I am kinda bored of this set up and I wished I would have realized this earlier but the front half of the tunnel on my cf and the m series of the same year are the same which means except for the drop brackets, rear tunnel and a few small minor details, a 153 standard skid from a 08 should go into my crossfire pretty easily. Having said that, 09+ float skids seem to be easier to find. So will a float skid with the drop brackets bolt right in? Whether I find a standard skid or float skid, I will do the 09 tunnel/bumper conversion so the rear section of the tunnel isn't relevant at this point. I also realize that I need to get 3" pitch drivers which are fairly cheap for the whole assembly right from the dealer. My sled is already clutched and geared to m8 specs.
